How does FarmTropical select the Tropical Fruit it sells?

All of the Tropical Fruit we deliver has been selected for our customers only after meeting the rigorous standards of our team. We source from the very best Tropical Farms throughout the Americas. However, the majority of our fruit is sourced from South Florida.

How are your items packaged?

All of our shipments are packaged with care to prevent breakage or spoilage and to ensure safe delivery. In order to save paper and help reduce our carbon footprint we include helpful order information, recipes and newsletters in digital form via email for every order placed.

How do I ripen the Tropical Fruit?

We include a ripening guide via email for every order of Tropical Fruit we ship.

Do you offer a guarantee?

We offer a 100% Freshness Guarantee. We can only offer refunds for any unsent fruit, replacements will be given if your order comes damaged or if you are unhappy with our service. All claims must be made within 1 day of receipt of package. All packaging should be kept in case the shipping company needs to inspect the package. Orders sent to a wrong or incomplete address are not covered by our guarantee. Additional fees may apply to fix and forward the package to the correct address. Once a delivery attempt has been made, it is the responsibility of customer to make sure the package is accepted. We do not guarantee delivery will be made if there is no one at the shipping address to accept a package or if the shipping company is unable to deliver a package, as some packages require a signature.

When does my order ship?

All of our Tropical Fruit is picked to order. Orders received by Midnight(EST) on Monday will be placed in queue to be processed that week. All orders ship Wednesday or Thursday depending on weather.

What delivery service does FarmTropical use to ship orders?

We ship all orders via FedEx Priority Overnight®. Delivery by 10:30 a.m. the next business day to most areas; by noon, 4:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. to remote areas.

How are Shipping Fees Calculated?

Shipping is automatically calculated at checkout based on order delivery LOCATION and WEIGHT. Larger wholesale orders will be priced with custom rates.

What do I do if my order arrived damaged?

If your Tropical Fruit has arrived damaged, please contact us via email at One of our Customer Service Representatives will respond to your inquiry. Your claim must be made within one day from the time the product is received.

What if I do not receive my order confirmation via email?

Once your order has been successfully placed in our system, you should receive a confirmation sent to the e-mail address provided with your order. If you do not receive an order confirmation, please check your spam folder. If you require additional assistance please email us at A Customer Service Representative will respond and provide a copy of your confirmation.

How can I verify the status of my shipment?

Once your order has shipped, we will automatically send you an email confirmation. Your shipping confirmation will include a tracking number which will allow you to track your package online. You can access your order information and track your order in the Account section of our website.

How can I make a change to my order?

Please submit your change order request via email at A Customer Service Representative will respond to your inquiry. If your order has not left the grower’s farm we will make every effort possible to adjust your order.

How can I cancel my order?

If your order has been processed and shipped we are NOT able to cancel the order since the fruit is no longer in our possession. You may cancel your order at any time as long as it has not been shipped.

How do Coupon Codes work?

Coupon codes apply to the cost of products applicable to the code only. Shipping and tax will not be reduced with the use of a coupon code. Requirements for code use vary by code and can include total order cost minimum, and may apply to only a specific product. Coupon codes are entered in at the time of checkout. Only one coupon can be applied to a single order. If you submitted two codes, we will automatically apply the code that offers you the greater discount on your order.

Do you ship to PO boxes, FPO or APO boxes?

Sorry. Since all of our products are perishable, we can only ship to residential and business addresses.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Sorry. Because all of our products are perishable, we can only ship within the United States. Also, we cannot ship Mango or Avocado to California, or any Tropical Fruit to Arizona.

Do you charge a Sales Tax?

NO SALES TAX. Florida has a Sales Tax exemption for fresh Tropical Produce.

Do you offer corporate quantity discounts?
